R. Malone, 151 Mass. Ave., Congers, NY 10929 advised the Pace Society of America that the Monitague line was researchedby genealogist, Mrs R. C. Richardson, and is accurate as indicated in the list of Magna Carta Barons...which included William de Montacute (old spelling). The Montagues enter the Pace line and all Paces desceded from John Pace I and Elizabeth Monitague are of Raoyal blood. The Montague line goes back to Sir Simon Montacute, Baron of Shepton who married Anfricia, daughter of Fergus, King of the Isle of Man in 1300. The Isle of Man is a crown prossession of the United Kingdom and lies in the Irish Sea 30 miles west of England, 221 square miles, capitol is Douglas.
