  Notes	He was the 1st Lord De La Warr. Was disable from all honors in 1549, but restored to blood in 1563 and was created on February 5, 1570 Lard De La Warr (source, Americans of Royal Descent by Charles H. Browning, pg 194). Adapoted by his father's half brother, Sir Thomas West, Knight of the Garter, Lord William prepared poison for his uncle to gain inheritance, failed and was disinherited. Sir Thomas died in 1554.
